A Table Rooted in Tradition
Satrapezo takes its name from the traditional monastery dining hall — a place where meals have long been shared with humility, gratitude, and a deep respect for the land. Here, dining is more than nourishment; it is a quiet ritual that brings people together around the changing rhythms of the seasons.

VESTIBULUM GRAVIDA
From Monastery Gardens to the Table
Our kitchen is guided by the enduring culinary traditions of Alaverdi Monastery and the surrounding villages. Many of the recipes have been preserved through generations of local families and monastic communities, while selected preserves, herbs, cheeses, honey, and seasonal specialties continue to be prepared by the local nuns using time-honored methods.
Their knowledge, passed down through decades of care and simplicity, gives each dish an authenticity that cannot be replicated.
